Charisma News Editor? That’s Me.

Many of you have been reading my articles in Christian magazines for years—but my first love, so to speak, was always Charisma.

Ever since I got born again I had a passion to use my writing gifts for the Kingdom. I started freelance writing for Charisma magazine about seven years ago, most recently penning a major feature story on Jolinda Wade, the mother of NBA Superstar Dwayne Wade. That story reminded me of why I love to write—I love to tell the stories of people who are making an impact for Jesus!

Today, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve expanded my relationship with Charisma magazine. My friend and colleague Adrienne Gaines has moved into the book division of Strang Communications and I have accepted the challenge to follow in her footsteps as the newly-minted News Editor of Charisma magazine.

I’m honored by the opportunity to serve Charisma, and want to give a special thanks to Steve and Joy Strang, Marcus Yoars, Jimmy Stewart, and, of course, Adrienne, for putting their confidence in me as we set out to take Charisma’s news to a new level.

Some day I’ll have to share with you the story of how this all came about. Suffice it to say that God was all over it. It was a divine appointment. And I can’t wait to see what God does next! Be encouraged, friends. God will see your visions into reality, too.
